Bangi Pakatan Harapan Youth have lodged a police report over a social media post that claimed that the subuh azan (dawn call to prayer) could no longer be heard in the constituency’s mosques and suraus.

Bangi MP Syahredzan Johan said in a Facebook post that he hoped this would end such slander.

Sinar Harian reported that a TikTok post had previously claimed that the subuh azan had stopped for three days, triggering anger and backlash against Syahredzan. - Mkini
