High crime rate PPP's, MIC's fault

WE CANNOT BLAME THE INDIAN COMMUNITY FOR BLAMING THE MIC & PPP FOR THEIR CURRENT 'PARIAH' SITUATION SINCE THE MIC & PPP LEADERS ENGAGE THE 'SERVICES OF GANGSTERS' TO SHOW THEIR 'POWER'. JUST LOOK AT THE BACKGROUND WHEN THESE LEADERS APPEAR, YOU CAN SEE FOR YOURSELF.

THE INDIANS SHOULD COMPLETELY STOP SUPPORTING MIC OR PPP IMMEDIATELY, IF THEY WANT TO PROGRESS.

LETTER

I must say that Dr Mahathir Mohamad's recent statement about Malays losing power if Pakatan Rakyat comes to power at Putrayaya has been exposed as incorrect by PAS. They say that it is Umno who would lose power to PAS and not the Malays. PAS is a Malay party with a PAS Supporters Club as well.

To me, the Sosilawati murders were the last straw. Such gruesome murders and other serious crimes show very well that MIC and PPP are disasters for Malaysian Indians. I have joined the Pas Supporters Club as I admire Tok Guru and his integrity as well as the integrity of PAS very much.

The main reason for the erosion of support amongst Indians for BN as well as the rise of crime and gangsterism among Indian youths is the failure of MIC and PPP in BN. Umno shoud have long thrown out MIC and PPP from BN and done what the PAP party has done in Singapore ie, select persons of talent, capability, and integrity to represent the Indian community.

They would have given sound advice on how to solve the community's problems especially the displacement of plantation workers. That huge displacement without alternate housing or land is the main reason for the social disaster among working class Indians.

Umno or MCA shoud have seen that coming. In this case, even the opposition parties like DAP failed in not raising the matter of displacement of these plantation workers. And so Malaysians are paying the price now for the high crime rate among Indian youths including educated lawyers.

In the past, the BN govt never respected the rights of workers that much. The contribution of Malaysian workers to the wealth of Malaysia never got the priority it deserved. As such, we have Malaysian workers of all races in plantations, factories and the commercial sector receiving low salaries compared to other nations like Singapore, South Korea and Taiwan.

Singapore helped solve many of the Malaysian workers problems by offering them jobs. As many as one million Malaysians have benefitted from the high wages and high exchange rate of the Singapore dollar. I am also one of those one million Malaysian workers. In fact, the economy of Johor has benefitted from the Malaysian workers working in Singapore.

Malaysian voters of all races have supported BN for the last 53 years but their support has been taken for granted. So Malaysian voters, like voters in any democracy, are rebelling against the status quo. The biggest surprise is the rebellion of Malay bumiputera voters.

This is something for Umno to work on. There is no guarantee that Pakatan Rakyat will form the government at Putrajaya after the next general election. That's in the hands of Malaysian voters. We won't know which way they will vote even if the experts in politics say that Pakatan will take Putrajaya with the 13th general election.

I believe in democracy and will wait until the votes are counted as anything else will mean a gross disrespect for the Malaysian voters. These voters ie, the common people and ordinary citizens arethe majority compared to political experts.
