DCP Dato Acryl Sani Federal, Deputy Director I, CID, Bukit Aman testifies in P.Uthayakumar’s Sedition trial

DCP Dato Acryl Sani Federal, Deputy Director I, CID, Bukit Aman testifies in P.Uthayakumar’s Sedition trial: Indian victims are (60%) disproportionately higher, compared, to population in killed in police custody and shot dead by police cases.

This Police DCP who has been in the police force for 26 long years testified on 30/11/10 at the Kuala Lumpur Sessions Court No 4 that at least 31 mostly Indian youths were killed in police custody in the last ten years. P.Uthayakumar had in his letter to the then British Prime Minister Gordon Brown dated 15/11/2007 that about 60% of such victims shot dead by the police are Malaysian Indians.

This together the Padang Jawa Hindu temple and hundreds other demolished, the Kg Medan racial attacks killing at least five Indians – Uthayakumar had referred to as “ethnic cleansing” in his said letter. This is Sedition by the UMNO regime’s standards and to send Uthayakumar to jail for another 3 years after already detaining him without trial for 514 days under the ISA.

This Federal Deputy CID testifies in Court:

1. CID that he has never seen pictures of A.Kugan who was killed in police custody

2. He has never visited until 25/11/07 and does not know who shut down thepolicewatchmalaysia.com website.

3. This DCP denied that scores more Indian victims names were not included in the list he had tendered to Court.

4. This DCP confirmed that no policeman were ever charged for murder in any the aforesaid murders in police custody.

5. while testifying that a police investigation must be completed within 3 months he admitted that he has no answers as to why Iswaran Supaya and many other such cases is still under investigation despite it being up to 8 years since the death.

6. This DCP conceded that he had not taken action against his policeman for their inaction.

7. On P.Uthayakumar’s suggestion this DCP denied any police cover up despite all the above.

8. This DCP said he does not know why the 8 other Malay muslim policemen who were merely suspended and not prosecuted for any offence.

9. On P.Uthayakumar’s suggestion this DCP denied that the police, Attorney General office and the hospital pathologist colluded in covering up death in police custody cases.

10. On P.Uthayakumar’s suggestion this DCP denied that it is because of P.Uthayakumar’s pointing out these police and government shortcomings that he had been prosecuted for murder.
