State Secretary Datuk Mohd Khusrin Munawi has taken his oath of secrecy before Selangor Mentri Besar Tan Sri Khalid Ibrahim.
Khalid said Mohd Khusrin took his oath of secrecy before him at 1.30pm Wednesday, at the state secretariat building here.
"He will now be able to attend the state government's meeting from now on," he told reporters here after chairing the weekly exco meeting.
Khalid, however, stood his ground that the power in appointing the top three civil servants should be returned to the Sultan and Mentri Besar.
Mohd Khusrin's appointment created controversy when Khalid claimed it was invalid because he was not informed about the appointment beforehand.
However, he eventually accepted the appointment, which had received the consent of the Selangor Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah.
Mohd Khusrin was sworn on before the Sultan at Istana Bukit Kayangan on Jan 6. - Star
