At about 5.00 a.m on 16/3/11 HRP vice president K. Selvam heard a small explosion like noise and when he went to check, he smelt a strong petrol smell. Soon there was a fire and his house was completely burned down. Selvam and his family barely escaped the flames.
Just about two weeks prior to that at the 27th February 2007 Hindraf anti UMNO racism rally Selvam was specifically targeted manhandled, injured and strangled.
This is attempted murder by the racist UMNO police special branch under Ops padam Hindraf against Selvam. And just over two weeks later, the racist UMNO Police Special Branch again attempted to murder. Selvam but this time including his wife and children.
What if Selvam and his family were unable to have made that dash out in the nick of time as they did on 16/3/11?
HRP and Selvam refused to lodge a police report implicating the racist UMNO state sponsored acts of terror on it’s ethnic minority up to sixth generation Malaysian born Indians using the Police Special Branch. It would be like reporting a crime to the very thief!
And neither will we file a civil suit as the Judiciary under ex UMNO Chief Justice Tun Zaki Tun Azmi will dismiss our suit. Worst still with cost of RM 20,000 or so to be paid by us to the UMNO junta on top of not getting justice.
And PKR, DAP and PAS would not speak up for us as we represent the Indian poor.
Earlier there was a theft of Uthayakumar’s computer, and a theft of a HRP member’s motorbike.
Our only way forward is HRP Project 15/38.
