Deputy IGP: No permit to be issued for Bersih rally

KUALA LUMPUR: The police will not issue permits for the proposed rally next month by Bersih or any other group opposing it, said Deputy Inspector-General of Police Datuk Seri Khalid Abu Bakar.

He said police came to the decision as the gathering would not only disturb the peace but also cause traffic chaos.

"We have received a total of 418 police reports from business operators, travel agencies, and individuals protesting the rally which is supposed to be held in Kuala Lumpur on July 9," he told pressmen at the Police Academy in Cheras Wednesday.

Syabas to the Police. So the Bersih rally will be illegal. If Mat Sapu B.O. (Bilik 121) still causes chaos on July 9th, I really hope the Police will have the gumption to arrest him for attending an illegal gathering, disturbing the peace, being a public nuisance etc.

I am glad that 418 Police reports have already been made. Each time these dungus run amok in the streets, it affects our businesses. Even now, with all this publicity, people will be afraid to come out or go shopping on July 9th. The public suffers losses. These dungus don’t care. They are jobless or unemployed anyway.

If Ambiga Sreenivasan the former president of the Long Bar also steps out into the street, then I hope the Police will arrest her too. If they break the law, throw the book at them. Throw them in the lockup to cool their heels, along with the druggies and the other riff raff.

Mat Sapu B.O. (Bilik 121) and the Bersih dungus say they want free and fair elections. This is crap. Is Mat Sapu B.O. saying that the Opposition did not deserve to win five States in the last General Elections? Or that there was some trickery when the Opposition DAP swept through the Sarawak Elections most recently? Or that the Opposition has unfairly won in about eight (?) By Elections since 2008. If the elections are not free and fair, how did the Opposition do so well in all these elections?

PETALING JAYA: Wangsa Maju MP Wee Choo Keong has dared Bersih 2.0 organiser Datuk Ambiga Sreenevasan to join a political party to fight politically-motivated causes.

Wee said Malaysians fear possible chaos during the Bersih gathering scheduled for July 9 in Kuala Lumpur.

Despite concerns over public safety, Ambiga has insisted that the rally will still be held in the streets ..said Wee.

Ambiga please take note. July 9th is a Saturday. If you make a nuisance of yourself, and they arrest you on Saturday, you may not appear in front of a Magistrate until Monday morning. So please bring some spare clean underwear. Tell ammi to hold the Sunday iddly too. You will be having nasi bungkus out of a newspaper wrapper dear.

The Police do provide free toothbrush and Good Morning towel. That Liwat fellow left his DNA on the toothbrush, remember. Just hope they don’t give you a used toothbrush. Someone may have used it to scratch their @$$. Or worse.

They may throw you in with the druggies and the riff raff. When the corrupt Slumberjack (under whose tenure you received your Datoship and who used RM80,000 taxpayers' money to pay for your Bar Council dinner) had me charged for Sedition, they just walked me through the lockups at the Jalan Duta Mahkamah.

Take my word Ambiga, you dont want to spend even an hour with your annas in the lockup even when they are chained at the ankles and wrists. Go join the Obedient Wives / Obedient Girls Club or something. Just stay home and spend time with ammi on that day. It will be more eventful. Otherwise it could be more fateful.
