LAJIM READY FOR THE WORST

KUALA PENYU: Beaufort MP Datuk Lajim Haji Ukin said he is well prepared mentally and physically to face any pressure that may be brought upon him by those who are unhappy with his act to form the Sabah Reform Alliance recently.
"I am used to such personal attack, since 1994 when I together with other friends left Parti Bersatu Sabah to join Umno. But I have proven to the people that the move has brought them much comfort, and this includes those who are mocking the move I made today," he said.
Lajim was recently stripped of his Federal Deputy Local Government and Housing Ministry portfolio following his decision to join the opposition.
He assured his constituents that he would continue with his duties and responsibilities to meet the people at the grassroots even though he no longer holds any position.
Saying the rakyat need not worry or feel afraid to see him even though he is no longer a government elected representative, he assured that he would continue to be their elected representative and would strive to fight for their interests and benefits.
"I can no longer afford to give allocation for any development project needed by the rakyat.
But as an elected representative I am free to raise to the government whatever issue or thing needed by the people," he said, during a breaking fast gathering at Kampung Temporong, Saturday.
He was accompanied by his wife Datin Hajah Normilah Siong, former Beaufort Parliamentary Mayang chief coordinator Hajah Johiar Matlani, former Beaufort Umno secretary Haji Jusih Haji Sarin and several other former party members who joined him in leaving the party recently.
Lajim also contributed Zakat Raya to 82 poor folk, orphans and single mothers, as well as to the mosque and surau in the area during the event, in conjunction with the month of Ramadan. - Sabahkini

    2. To have many political platforms without strong cooperation from one another is meaningless.

  2. Lajim suka menafikan khabar angin sebelum ni. tidak hairan juga dia suka menutup niat dan agenda sebenar beliau keluar parti.

  4. Don't trust Lajim. If he can 'back stab' PBS and UMNO, he can do it again with other party.
