KOTA KINABALU: The offices of the Federal Special Task Force (FSTF) were flooded again for the second time in three years when a water pipe in the ceiling sprang a leak on Saturday.
The subsequent flooding up to ankle height caused the entire fifth floor wing of the Federal Administrative Complex in Jalan Sulaiman to be flooded and also affected the fourth and third floors.
According to staff at the FSTF, the leak likely occurred in the early morning and caused certain sections of the ceiling to cave in.
By mid morning the leaking pipe was fixed and department staff resumed the clean-up work. Shoddy workmanship was blamed in the previous incident.
