Looking Stupid with 1SmartPhone Scheme

The Barisan Nasional government specifically UMNO, is often reminding us because of the subsidies from petrol to sugar and now to even so called smartphones, we should be grateful to God's chosen party to show our gratitude for marking 'x' on the ballot paper, without getting 5kg of rice for good measure though some claim of receiving hard cold cash for following their commands.

And the BN and 1Malaysia reminds us the debts incurred is also a result of the generous caring subsidies that they dole out to us. Like as though it is their money. It is all our money, the taxes we pay direct or indirect. For the indirect taxes it is the many privatisation they have undertaken to milk us for them to continue to spend billions in cost overrun so that their select few cronies can become richer.

And how does BN appease those who don't have a share but the crumbs? Give out free money, perpetuating the subsidy mentality or is it just a tactic so that they can perpetuate the special subsidiary to their God chosen race only huh?

The latest smartphone subsidy contradicts their complain that we are a highly subsidised nation. Why is 1Malaysia overdoing even the mythical Santa Claus who dispenses presents once a year only? This 1Malaysia seem to be handing out subsidy each time his popularity dips or to up his popularity when some independent polls release his popularity poll results huh?

This BN government is treating its people like some servile slaves begging for handouts instead of teaching them to be independent and offering them hope and job. Looking at the type of smartphones being offered to the youths and unemployed, it shows the kind of high income lifestyle that BN is aiming for in 2020 hah! Worst the con on the youth by giving them fineprints and conditions! There wasn't any conditions when it was announced right? Goes to show either the leader knows tak cukup duit or helping the telcos and some cronies phone dealers to dispose of junk hah!

If the youth don't have money to buy a smartphone where are they getting money to subscribe to the plan? Ask them to beg, steal, borrow from ahlong or wait for BN to win in GE for subsidy to use the smartphone huh? What's a smartphone without a telco plan unless the youths in Selangor or Penang have the luxury of free wifi provided by Pakatan hah!

And what's the point of offering smartphones and then tell the youths you must only log on to BN and pro BN and their MSMedia websites to get correct, factual and truthful news about the great things BN have done. Is the smartphone another propaganda medium to garner support that will translate to voting for BN to stay in power huh? Or will there be a conspiracy for the phones to have a burnt in 1Malaysia wall and screensaver and also can only surf to government controlled news or the MSMedia organs websites to read news huh?

In other countries, telcos are offering free phones if you subscribe to a plan. Why is the government helping telcos to up their profit? Is it to collect extra taxes from these low and poor income group? What a sneaky way to milk the poor youths?

1smartphone ancient scheme
Those who receive the rebate do feel insulted, read the chatter on social media hah and they will respond aptly at the vote booth hah! 1Malaysia makes the poor youths looking stupid with this phoney 1smartphone rebate fine print ruling hah!

And what about senior citizens, are they not tech savvy too and have use for it or is it becoz the older folks are more matured in deciding the government they want and not easily swayed by such free gimmicks, at least the urban senior citizens right?

This leader is always reminding us that the fantastic ETP, NRA and all those alphabet soup acronym projects are derived from some blue ocean thinking and what not? Do you need blue ocean thinking to come up with such a crappy smartphone deal for the poor? or that you need to give facilities for the sick and elderly or create jobs for our graduates? The only think that indicates all those 1too many satu lagi projek BN is the blue colour related to the blue ocean strategy hah!

The government should desist from going into business but provide the enablers such as good infrastructure, utilities, reduce redtape, bureaucracy, corruption and inefficiency in their delivery system to enable private enterprises to adopt blue ocean strategy to contribute to growth. Instead, the BN government dispenses contracts to their cronies and allow for cost overruns!

It is about time the taxpaying groups send a message to this freebie giving government is enough of trying to bribe the people and useless short gap solution to make us a high income nation, opps rather to fish votes. It's really living out the classic fishing metaphor to fish for votes than teach them to make nets and how to look for good fishing grounds, carry out sustainable fishing to fend for themselves. Not wait for the government to throw in fries into the fish pond, then the feed, wait for the fish to grow big and then harvest for them and give to the poor!

RM300 million can be spend on other much needed services such as upgrading rural schools, housing and what have you. But then if it's not spend someone else is going to pocket it right? So many billions are being dispenses where does the government gets its income from? They have said they will hand out ang pows if the economy is good and they are making money. But with so many thousands of graduates without work, and the income gap is getting wider where is the money coming from. And how has all the first round of billions raised the standard of living of those who got it? Hasn't inflation wiped  any supposedly gain?

So shall we send a message to this government not to use money to buy votes because we are being reminded it is a one off or two off free money. So it is actually a vote buying gimmick than one that has any blue ocean thinking in it. With ditching so much of free money, it only makes the drops turn into a deluge of debts making us sink deeper into debts!

What will be the next free 1Malaysia money? Let's see, taxi fellows got free wheels, poor motorist may get rebate to pimp their ride? or tablets rebate, what about household essentials like broadband, satellite tv, 40" LCD, fridge, washing machine, vacuum cleaner, bicycles to promote clean transport, subsidies transport cards, free dental, eye treatment, what about poor who can't replace their underclothes?, bulbs and fans to poorer family so they have light and keep cool, shoes for children, factory workers? gosh the list is endless right?

To 1Malaysia, stop trying to outsmart the people by handing out free cash and tell us we are on the road to a high income society. Is this the way to build that nation by giving out subsidies. It is you who is perpetuating the subsidy mentality hah! When junior Lim gave out money to senior citizens, you laughed and called it a gimmick and chicken feed?

Now with the billions of free money you had out, you call it a caring government, blue ocean thinking, uplifting the standard of living and a responsible government huh? Many see it as a shark making you fat so you taste good when it's payback time hah?

Wait till GE13 when BN regains power if it does, everyone, including those who don't receive a sen of the cash and rebate handout but have to pay taxes to fund such scams,...opps schemes,  all will feel the ahlong payback time treatment hah!

Meanwhile even if the intention is good in sending me Christmas or rather afraid to use the word but call it Seasons Greeting and New Year message, can the BN whoever you are stop spamming my phone and I did not give you my number to receive your spam. Who is breaking the law giving you my number. Thank God my smartphone is smart to block out this blokes number for future spam hah! - YAHMEH!!!
