The withdrawal of a lawsuit by Deepak Jaikishan does not change anything in terms of the allegations he has made of late. The allegations made still remain and must still be probed.
I call upon the IGP to state what action has been taken on a police report lodged by the Bukit Gelugor MP, YB Karpal Singh in Penang on 15.12.2012? (http://m.malaysiakini.com/news/216721)
It has been some 2 weeks now. The IGP should be upfront and tell us how many statements have been taken until now and from whom? Has anything been done? If not, why not?
The allegations made by Deepak are to my mind and that of most rational thinking Malaysians, most serious in nature. The police cannot be seen to be dragging their feet in the matter. They must act and act fast.
Will the IGP respond to my question or will he also keep silent?
