Opposition Leader Anwar Ibrahim said he was willing to testify before the Sabah Royal Commission on Illegal Immigrants, where his former boss Mahathir Mohamad has been implicated in a citizenship-for-vote scam.
"I have no problems at all in facing the RCI. I have no problems at all if Umno wants to accuse me. I have nothing to do with it or with the Majilis Keselamatan Negara. They have no files and or any reports that showed I was in any meeting or involved at all," Anwar.
"Umno can try and use it (the issue) but they will have to answer for it. Najib is fully conversant and he should be called to testify in the RCI too. It is a failure on the part of his governance, it is an abdication of responsibility. It reflects a weak leadership."
