MCA accuses 'desperate' Nik Aziz of "BLACKMAILING" voters

MCA accuses 'desperate' Nik Aziz of "BLACKMAILING" voters
It is regrettable that once again, Kelantan Menteri Besar Dato’ Seri Nik Aziz has invoked fear of divine retribution to shore up waning votes.
In his New Year address, the PAS spiritual adviser had inferred that parts of the human anatomy maybe severed in the afterlife when he urged voters to “not to make the wrong choice” lest they “rest assured, every part of the body, including the hand that voted, will bear witness on Judgement Day.”
Considering that PAS is the only religious-based political party, it can be surmised that Nik Aziz and his party has reached a stage of desperation and thus, resorts to misusing the spiritual realm to pressurise voters to opt for PAS.
PAS blackmails & confuses voters to win votes
PAS should not threaten fear of punishment in the afterlife into the psyche or subconscious minds of balloters or their supporters, especially those who are spiritually pious.
This is a form of blackmailing or confusing voters to select PAS on the ballot slips, rather than letting them vote their conscience as to which party or candidate they believe has always been serving and delivering on election pledges and will continue to do so.
What is definition of “making the wrong choice” ?
Moreover, Nik Aziz has not provided a precise definition of what constitutes voting “correctly” or “making the wrong choice.” Neither does he elaborate, how and why, if a voter does not select according to PAS’ fancy, they “will regret (their) decision in this life and hereafter.”
The only reality that regrets will be felt should voters back Pakatan come GE13 is the continued string of broken promises, economic backwardness and regression, lack of job opportunities as endured by Kedahans and Kelantanese who are under PAS rule.
PAS repeats their goal to compel ultra conservative interpretation of religious texts on non-Muslims
Meanwhile, Nik Aziz’s re-assertion that Adin (way of life)once again reveals that PAS wants to enforce its version of ultra-conservative PAS hudud law on all including non-Muslims, debasing the fact that the Federal Constitution guarantees religious freedoms for all.
Apart from Karpal Singh, other DAP top honchos like their new National Organising Secretary Antony Loke who in the past had openly supported PAS hudud law, should voice up against Nik Aziz.
