PUTRAJAYA-- The Malaysian Malay Network Organisation (JMM) has alleged that a Sarawak Report blogger was paid to write an article on Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak's supposed minor stroke on Jan 5.
Its president Azwanddin Hamzah who made the claim urged the MalaysianAnti-Corruption Commission (MACC) to investigate the matter and take any action deemed appropriate.
He said he had evidence of bribery in the case which could assist the MACC's investigations.
"We believe this blog is funded by several individuals with the intention of discrediting and tainting the name of the Prime Minister as well as mobilising a movement to destroy the nation's economy," he told reporters before lodging areport at the MACC office here today.
When asked if the alleged political leaders were from the opposition,Azwanddin said they were among political leaders.
"There is a big possibility that they are political leaders. Let the MACC investigate, but the evidence is very strong," he said.
