MB Khalid to meet Pakatan reps over dissolving assembly

Selangor Menteri Besar Abdul Khalid Ibrahim is meeting Pakatan Rakyat assemblypersons this week to discuss the possibility of dissolving the state assembly after Chap Goh Meh.
 
“We will make the announcement later; (we will be meeting them) this week,” he told media after the state exco meeting in Shah Alam today.

On Jan 30, Khalid had said that his government would dissolve the assembly after Chap Goh Meh if the general election date was not announced by then.

“If the prime minister does not make any announcement or indicate a date for the general election after Chap Goh Meh, we plan to do this (dissolve the state assembly),” he had reportedly said.
