BN's Chinese dominated component party MCA unveiled its new "People's Stability Bus" mobile ceramah vehicle cum stage platform at its annual Chinese New Year open house in Bandar Tun Razak near Cheras today.
As if to showcase its stability, when arriving to grace the event, Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak and wife Rosmah Mansor, along with a retinue of BN leaders, went onboard the bus all the way to the stage on the second floor of the double-decker vehicle.
The BN leaders and PM's spouse then crowded atop the vehicle waving at the assembled crowd which greeted them.
After PKR's campaign bus and DAP's ‘Ubah' trucks, MCA is the third party to go mobile as far as campaign platforms go.
All the vehicles also double as stages for ceramahs.
However MCA president Chua Soi Lek was quick to point out that his party's double decker bus is unique, denying it was a copycat of the Pakatan mobile campaign platforms.
"I don't think there is any other bus like this," he told reporters after the event.
He explained that the bus represents the MCA campaign credo of stability in Malaysia's multiracial society above any chaos.
"Those who support the bus support Malaysia's stability," added Chua.
