JOHOR BAHRU -- From the information made available to Sin Chew Daily, after a meeting between Johor menteri besar Datuk Abdul Ghani Othman and chairman of MCA Gelang Patah division Jason Teoh Sew Hock this morning, it is likely that the MCA divisional chief would be fielded in Gelang Patah against DAP's Lim Kit Siang in the 13th General Elections.
The information says Jason Teoh went to meet the MB alone this morning.
Sin Chew Daily later contacted Teoh, trying to seek clarification from him over the Gelang Patah seat but the latter apologetically refused to comment.
He nevertheless confirmed that he had met Abdul Ghani this morning.
He said he only discussed "several things" with the MB but remained tight-lipped over what had been discussed.
