Zahid 'wants blood' as PM announces dissolution

As Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak announced the dissolution of Parliament today, many politicians took to Twitter to express their feelings on the matter.

In this case, Defence Minister Ahmad Zahid Hamidi may have been among those who are overexcited about the coming election when he tweeted, "We shall move to the warzone to kill all adverse political intruders".

Meanwhile, Shah Alam MP Khalid Samad - who was attending a defamation trial in court - remarked that he had previously requested for a break for several minutes at 11.25am to go to the restroom.

NONE"Once PM announced the dissolution, the trial resumes. The reason (for the announcement), I had to go to the toilet [sic]. Ha ha ha," he said in his tweet.

Beruas MP Ngeh Koo Ham, in response to the dissolution, mocked rival MCA president Chua Soi Lek when he tweeted ,"Najib announced the Parliament dissolution today. Slap in the face of Chua Soi Lek that [sic] Najib informed him it will be called much later".

Kota Belud MP Abdul Rahman Dahlan said that from now on, people should stop referring to him as "YB" (Yang Berhormat).

On another note, Kinabatangan MP Bung Mokhtar Raden tweeted that now is the time for BN to struggle to achieve victory.

#Bubar one of Malaysia's trends

"Bubar" (dissolution) is currently one of the trending words inTwitter when the public took to the social media platform to express their thoughts on the dissolution.

Several netizens have already mocked the television broadcast of Najib's announcement as "last year's recording" when the premier mistakenly said the wrong year (2012 instead of the year 2013) in dissolving the Parliament.

Others jokingly wanted the Football Association of Malaysia (FAM) - which is embroiled in taking action against head coach K Rajagopal for allegedly violating Article 88 of the FAM constitution - to also dissolve.

NONEWhile Najib promises a peaceful transition of the new government, DAP parliamentary leader Lim Kit Siang has also made a similar pledge onTwitter.

Some also have predicted the dates for the nomination and polling day.
