RM24mil ring & future-in-law Maira: ROSMAH MUST BE DESPERATE!

RM24mil ring & future-in-law Maira: ROSMAH MUST BE DESPERATE!
Datin Seri Dr. Rosmah was reported (again by reliable BERNAMA – so we cannot go wrong) to have said at the Kubang Krian Hospital in Kelantan that the diamond ring did not belong to her and she had nothing to do with it. It was her future in-law who arranged for it to be viewed in Malaysia as the later was an old customer of the jeweler. Blah, blah, bla…
Wait a minute. Is this the season for diamond rings and future in-laws Talk Shows? Or are we really as a nation into some real serious business of wanting to decide the future governance of the nation of 29 million rakyat (not forgetting the millions more of foreign migrant labor yeah!).
Why did the caretaker PM’s wife chose this time and season – of all places the PAS territory to sanitize her fingers clean and off over the diamond saga and push the blame over to her future in-law? That is puzzling indeed. What is the connection? What is the logic? What is the motivation? Worse, what is the fear and urgency?
Is the diamond ring issue and future in-law action so critical and of national importance that it will make or break the fate and destiny of this nation? Is not general elections all about governance – the trust the people will place in candidates (and the party they hail from) to form the in-coming government?
Must be serious for her to show such desperation
In any case, if FLOM is using the campaign circuit to rid herself of the allegations on the diamond ring, then it must be really serious you know. Someone – in all likelihood a well paid sage of election canvassing must have counseled innocent Rosmah to do so. No?
But let us give some room for due respect as good citizens. Maybe the diamond ring issue after all is a critical issue that needs to be addressed. Then if that be so, it is indeed a sad day for this nation’s post-independent history.
All over the world we humans go to the polls to determine the future of a humanity’s four paradigms – political, social, economic and environment. We debate. We process. We evaluate. We arrive at conclusions. We act out of responsibility and integrity. We deal with grown-up issues, concerns and needs.
But when someone prioritizes a diamond ring above all else and seeks a political platform to deal with it at a time – just two days before the do-or-die battle date, what can we say?
Anybody out there who can help shed some light – not that the diamond has lost its sparkle.
