UMNO'S RACISM: Ethnic cleansing & seizing the properties of the Chinese & Indians

UMNO'S RACISM: Ethnic cleansing & seizing the properties of the Chinese & Indians
I refer to the statement by former Appeals Court judge Mohd Noor Abdullah made at a forum on 12 May 2013. The statement is blatantly racist and intended to cause enmity and racial hatred between the races in our country.
Mohd Noor Abdullah also suggests a form of ethnic cleansing to be implemented in Malaysia, including banning of the description Indian or Chinese, and appropriation of homes and businesses of one race by another. The extreme viciousness of the remarks is unprecedented in the annals of race relations in our country.
Mohd Noor's statement is consistent with similar racist and inaccurate statements made by UMNO mouthpiece Utusan Malayisa, which shocked the nation with its 'Apa lagi Cina mahu?' headline story. Najib, UMNO and the mainstream media have been attempting to blame the Chinese community for BN's heavy losses in the 13th GE; despite the fact that large numbers of Malays and Indians had also voted for the opposition Pakatan Rakyat. In turn, PM Najib has defended Utusan's verbal assault upon the Chinese community. The hidden hand and incitement of Najib and UMNO can thus be clearly seen behind Mohd Noor's racist statement.
Sack him from public office
Mohd Noor is currently occupying a statutory position as a member of the Complaints Committee of the MACC. This is an important position appointed by the Minister pursuant to s.15 of the MACC Act 2009. The BN government must immediately sack Mohd Noor Abdullah from this position of public trust. Mohd Noor's remarks make him totally unfit to hold any position of public trust.
We further call upon Najib to break his silence and condemn the racist utterances of Mohd Noor Abdullah; the police and Attorney General must also investigate and bring charges against Mohd Noor Abdullah, including for causing public mischief under s.505 of the Penal Code. The Election Commission must also speak up and condemn the repeated threats issued to the Chinese community simply for exercising their democratic right to vote for the party of their choice.
