‘We actually won the election’

But Pakatan was denied victory because of a mother of all frauds, says PKR de facto leader Anwar Ibrahim at a massive rally.
BATU KAWAN: Anwar Ibrahim last night described the 13th general election as “mother of all frauds” and vowed not to rest until he got the right answers from relevant authorities.
He claimed that Pakatan Rakyat had won but was denied its victory by the fraudulent electoral process overseen by the Election Commission.
He said all Malaysians desired a free and fair election, thus demanded the EC to explain on the allegations of fraud raised by Pakatan.
“You have cheated us before but we have forgiven you. But this time no. We demand an answer.
“You better give us an answer now,” he told a mammoth crowd during a post-election rally in Batu Kawan state stadium here last night.
He claimed all pre-election analysts by local and foreign political pundits pointed to a victory for Pakatan.
“We actually won the election as predicted. But we were denied victory because of this mother of all frauds,” said the PKR de facto leader citing a quote of national laureate Abdul Samad Said.
He claimed the election results showed that all Malaysians backed Pakatan whilst Bangladeshis supported the triumphant Barisan Nasional.
He claimed that he had photographic and visual evidence to prove that foreigners had voted under police escort in the just concluded election.
He said Pakatan struggle for justice and fairness was to defend the people’s honour, rights and dignity.
He called on the people to be united, fearless and prepared to fight all the way with Pakatan for justice.
“The passion among Malaysian youths for justice augurs well for future of this great Malaysian nation,” thundered the Permatang Pauh MP to a roaring crowd.
Pakatan supporters wore black shirts or T-shirts and merrily honked their plastic honks and waved flags of PAS, DAP and PKR amidst loud chants of “Hidup, Hidup Rakyat”, “Hidup, Hidup Bersih”, “Undur, Undur Najib”  “Undur, Undur Umno” and “Undur, Undur BN” all night long.
The rally is part of Anwar’s road show to mobilise supporters to support Pakatan’s allegation of electoral fraud.
Anwar kick-started the road show at Kelana Jaya on May 8. His next stop is in Ipoh tonight, followed by Kuantan and Johor Bahru.
Critics claimed that the road show was Anwar’s desperate efforts to maintain his political relevance after suffering a heartbreaking defeat against his arch rival Prime Minister and BN chairman Najib Tun Razak.
Mat Sabu’s phone hacked
Earlier PAS deputy president Mohamad Sabu told the crowd that certain quarters had hacked his mobile phone and issued racist text messages via his cellular number.
One text message read: “Mampus Melayu Hidup Cina.”
He blamed Umno of playing racist politics by hacking his mobile phone to smear his reputation.
He has lodged a report at Pendang police station on Saturday morning.
“Umno should stop playing racist game.
“Malaysians now reject racism, corruption, misappropriation and fraud,” he told the crowd.
Penang Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng, Deputy Chief Minister I Mohd Rashid Hasnon, Nibong Tebal MP Mansor Othman,  Batu Kawan MP P Kasthuriraani, Bayan Baru MP Sim Tze Tzin and Tanjung MP Ng Wei Aik also spoke.
PKR president Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail was also present. But the most notable absentee was PKR deputy president and Gombak MP Azmin Ali.
The rally caused massive traffic congestion from Juru toll plaza of the North – South Expressway until the stadium.
