Pakatan Anak Selangor Menyokong Menteri Besar (Pasmeb) today lodged a report at the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC), claiming a misappropriation of fund in the PJ Sentral project and the Mesra Usia Emas Scheme (SMUE).
Its president, Mazli Saring, said the 32-page report was lodged to clear the name of Selangor government, hence showing support to Menteri Besar Abdul Khalid Ibrahim's leadership.
Mazli said SMUE's fund, which was set aside by the state government to pay RM2,500 for each death of Selangor senior citizen, was found to have been wrongly spent on other projects in Gombak and Wangsa Maju.
Speaking to reporters before lodging the report at the MACC headquarters in Putrajaya today, Mazli also claimed that the parties involved also failed to provide details on the distribution of the fund.
Therefore, he said Pasmeb hoped that the MACC would carry out immediate investigation on the matter.
