Paul Phua-FBI conundrum: The obvious question - HAS ZAHID BEEN BOUGHT?

Paul Phua-FBI conundrum: The obvious question - HAS ZAHID BEEN BOUGHT?
Malaysian police or PDRM and those in power have been accused of having connections with the underworld; loan sharks, drug lords, pimps, triads, secret societies and other kingpins. To be blunt, this is in fact an open secret. How many big sharks have been caught so far anyway? They are cohorts, but surely it is impossible to prove when those who are trusted to uphold the law are themselves corrupt!
The peak of the accusation was when Tan Sri Musa Hassan was said to have links with shady underworld kingpins Goh Cheng Poh, or Tengku Goh, and BK Tan when he was the inspector-general of police.
Tengku Goh was reportedly an underworld boss who enjoyed Musa's backing when Musa was Johor police chief. Musa was said to have eliminated all loan sharks, money-laundering syndicates, gaming and drug syndicates and crime lords in Johor, but allowed Tengku Goh to continue operating - until the Bukit Aman CCID found out about Goh's activities.
Ex-IGP Musa Hasan accused of links with top crime lords
Current IGP Khalid Bakar takes his orders from Zahid and has never been known to say 'NO' to Umno
Then when retired, Musa Hasan dropped a bombshell in a crime watch seminar and forum by alleging that PDRM is currently tainted with politics, interference and link to the underworld organizations.
Now when Home Minister Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi was willing to write a letter to the FBI deputy director Mark F. Giuliano verifying that "Phua is neither a member nor is he associated with the 14K Triad in Malaysia," this is a show of support to the gambling kingpin, contradicting an earlier report received by FBI from PDRM where in 2008 Musa Hassan confirmed that Phua Wei Seng was involved in triad activities in Malaysia.
Zahid also admitted that on numerous occasions, Phua had assisted the government of Malaysia on projects affecting our national security.
When there is no denial and rebuttal by Zahid on the letter posted by the South China Morning Post, we can only conclude that indeed the letter is genuine and signed by him.
Yet Zahid had the cheek to lambast blogger Alvin Tan, activist Ali for denting Malaysia's image
What is going on? Even though the request for verification was made by Phua’s US attorneys, why is Zahid ever so willing to personally support Phua?
How could Zahid in the name of national security have a special favour for a person such as Phua, when he was so mad with the blogger Alvin Tan and activist Ali Abdul Jalil for criticising the Umno-led government and setting Interpol to hunt down the duo?
Who is more detrimental to the security of the nation?
Asian gambling kingpin Paul Phua suspected of being a member of Hong Kong's powerful Triad 14K
Outspoken Alvin Tan and Ali got into hot soup with the Malaysian government and were charged under the oppressive Sedition Act. Both fled the country and are continuing their 'fight' on Facebook - Alivin from the US and Ali from Sweden respectively. Zahid had vowed 'no forgiveness' for them, mulled calls from Malay extremists to strip the pair of their Malaysian citizenship & also asked Interpol to help hunt down the duo.
Who is the traitor now? If anyone, Zahid deserves to have his citizenship REVOKED more than those he criticized!
The underworld is more dangerous because they operate covertly and as in any organized crime organizations, their powers could affect businesses, politics, society and the whole country if they want to, by buying politicians!
So has Zahid been bought? Why is Zahid so quiet?
,

Controversial and loudmouthed, Zahid has beenaccused of links with local Malay gang Tiga Line. Outside of his Umno party, he is unpopular for his brand of racism-tainted politics and often described as a hypocrite by critics.
We know that in South America, for example in Mexico the authorities have lost control in certain regions of the country when the drug lords have taken control and become the judge, jury and executioner!
No, it is not a case of “it takes a thief to catch a thief”, trusting Phua in national security matters is like hiring thieves to look after your gold! It is simply that the PDRM is not doing its job! We know the incident where the police station is just one hundred meters away from the internet gambling den,but no action was taken!
Zahid can by all means let Umno lawyer Tan Sri Muhammad Shafee Abdullah be his mouth piece for now, but he has a lot of explanations to do when the time comes. The Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Khalid Abu Bakar should tread carefully because in the end, he could be the scapegoat for Zahid to clear himself.
