CRIME DOWN? Neighborhood security guard dies, 5 others injured as thugs BURN DOWN guard post

KLANG - A neighbourhood security guard was burnt to death and five others injured after a group of thugs attacked and burned their guard posts earlier this morning. The incident happened at Jalan Rodat 1/Jalan Rodat 14, Bandar Bukit Raja, here about 1.45am.

Selangor Fire and Rescue Department operations assistant director Mohd Sani Harul said two of the three guard houses were completely destroyed while the third was partially burnt.

“We received information about the fire about 1.58am and deployed a fire engine and six firemen to the location," he said. He added that one of the six security guards was burnt to death. The other five, he said, were injured and sent to Hospital Tengku Ampuan Rahimah (HTAR), here, for treatment.
