KL's Golden Triangle - business centre or SEX PARADISE?

KL's Golden Triangle - business centre or SEX PARADISE?
KUALA LUMPUR - The number of foreign women offering sexual services for money has increased rapidly within the Golden Triangle here.
Many of them were seen around Bukit Bintang and its surrounding areas such as Changkat, Lot 10 and clubs found along Jalan P. Ramlee
These women were mostly from Southeast Asia, Africa, Middle East, East Europe and Central Asia.
A tourist, who only wanted to be known as Steve, said he had been approached by several women while having drinks with friends at some clubs in the area.
“Depending on who you talk to, the women were charging between RM400 and RM1,000 a night.”
He added that women, allegedly from the Middle East, charged the most but it was hard to gauge if they were really from the Middle East.
Steve said: “From experience, some of them could be from Central Asia, and they claim to be from the Middle East to come off as being more exotic and, consequently, charge more.”
His friend, Paul, chipped in by saying that the women never directly approached them to offer sexual services.
“They would make small talk for several minutes, making sexual innuendos of what they did.”
He added that one had the choice to accept, reject or bargain for a better deal as some of these women were very much willing to lower their asking price.
A local, who also had drinks in the clubs in the area and introduced himself as Jaya, said the women very seldom approached Malaysians.
Jaya said this was probably because the locals did not put up in hotels, unlike tourists.
He said most of the local men were unwilling to splash out such hefty amounts for a night of pleasure considering they would also have to pay for a hotel room.
According to Jaya, only the newly-arrived foreign sex workers approached local men.
He also added that if locals sought such services, there were many “other places” where they could find it.
However, Jaya said that people should not make the mistake of assuming that every foreign woman in the Golden Triangle was offering such services as many of them could genuinely be there on holiday. - http://www.therakyatpost.com/
