PKR vice-president Tian Chua (pic) said the Selangor government, under the administration of Menteri Besar Mohamed Azmin Ali is "strong and stable".
He said news of the so-called plans to reinstate Tan Sri Abdul Khalid Ibrahim as menteri besar was manufactured to create suspicion and divide the coalition, in view of the Permatang Pauh and Rompin by-elections next month.
Tian Chua, who is also Batu MP, said Hadi was very supportive of the present state administration while Khalid harboured no intention of becoming the menteri besar again.

"The PR government in Selangor, under Azmin, is strong and stable. Nothing to worry," he added.
He believed the story was also cooked up to shift the attention from the on-going intense war of words between Dr Mahathir and Umno leaders who were close to Najib.
The country's longest-serving prime minister has gone on a tirade against Najib since last week, urging the latter to step down over the 1MDB scandal, for continuing the 1Malaysia People’s Aid (BR1M) cash vouchers, and also over the murder of Altantuya Shaariibuu.
But his criticism prompted Barisan Nasional (BN) leaders to rally behind Najib, and several have even hit out at Dr Mahathir.
Umno will be facing two by-elections – in Permatang Pauh against PKR and in Rompin against PAS.

The relationship among PR partners PAS, PKR and DAP, have been strained after the Islamist party and Hadi decided to proceed with introducing hudud in Kelantan.
On Friday, news portal SuaraTV reported that Hadi wished to reinstate Khalid, after having backed the sacked PKR leader throughout the Selangor menteri besar crisis last year.
Quoting an anonymous source, SuaraTV said Khalid and Hadi had met in Jakarta to discuss plans for the Port Klang assemblyman to replace Azmin.
However, Khalid told Sinar Harian that the meeting with Hadi was aimed at strengthening Malaysia's ties with Muslim groups in Indonesia.
Hadi similarly denied that the topic had cropped up during their meeting in the Indonesian capital.
Selangor PAS commissioner Iskandar Ab Samad also dismissed the report as an attempt to smear Hadi's name as the party's muktamar (general assembly) draws near.
He said, in a statement, that party members could differentiate between fake and real news.
PKR had sacked Khalid last August after he refused to step down as menteri besar and make way for party president Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail.
Khalid is now an independent assemblyman.
It was also rumoured that five PKR assemblymen would defect to join Khalid, then join forces with PAS and Umno to topple the present state administration.

PAS has 15 seats while Umno has 12 seats in the 56-seat state assembly.
