When Imagination Becomes Your Reality Ponder This Option : Quran 62:6

There is an interesting message in the latter part of this video.   The guy tells people who are convinced that they are going to their version of "heaven" to just kill themselves.  And be on their way to their version of god, heaven or whatever.  Why waste time hanging around here?

There is a verse in the Quran that suggests a similar line of thought. Surah 62:6. Here it is.

62:6 "Say, "O you Hadoo, if you claim that you are Allah's chosen (awliyaa lillaahi or wali Allah), to the exclusion of all other people, then you should long for death if you are truthful!"

This was aimed at the Hadoo (literally 'the guided'). If people (like the Hadoo) claim that they are the chosen ones (wali Allah), to the exclusion of other people, then just  drop dead. Why waste time hanging around here? Just kill yourselves and be on your way to your version of heaven,  into your version of 'god's' lap etc. 

The speaker makes the powerful suggestion that it is very dangerous when imaginations become reality. Or when much strife is driven by nothing more than imaginary beliefs of different groups of people.

There is a measurable consensus that temperature can be measured in degrees Celsius, degress Fahrenheit, degrees Kelvin, degrees ouch-ouch and so on. 

And that anywhere on earth, at one atmosphere pressure, water boils at 100 degrees Celsius, 212 degrees Fahrenheit, 373 degrees Kelvin etc.  This is not imaginary. Anyone can verify this observation.

No people or community has gone to war or killed each other over disagreements that water boils at 100 Celsius, 373 Kelvin or 212 Fahrenheit.  Because these are real and not imaginary. 

But when it comes to imaginary beliefs..
