Woman stripped to avoid paying for chicken rice meal, says report

A video of a woman stripping over an argument in Petaling Street, in Kuala Lumpur's Chinatown, is causing a stir on social media, The Star reported.

The almost two-minute long video shared on YouTube showed the woman, believed to be a foreigner, stripping off her top as she argued with another woman.

She could be heard shouting, “Don't do this to me”, and “What is your problem, I pay you” at the second woman as she took off her clothes.

Another report from The Star said the woman had apparently gone to a chicken rice restaurant with a man at about 3pm yesterday.

A nearby stall owner told The Star that the woman had eaten two plates of chicken rice before trying to leave without paying the RM18 bill.

"When the restaurant operator tried to stop her, she denied having eaten there.

"However, she was shown a CCTV recording of her eating in the restaurant, so she started stripping to avoid paying," the report quoted the stall owner as saying.

The video ended with the woman topless and taunting the second woman.

The Star report cited witnesses as saying that the woman's companion, described as a Caucasian, got into a scuffle off-camera with the restaurant operator when the woman was not allowed to leave.

The duo reportedly fled when policemen arrived at the scene.
