I am down with a bad case of flu today (been sleeping the whole day totally drugged out) — which is spoiling my holiday with my daughter and grandkids — so I am going to write a short article and not my normal cheong hei pieces.

With the PAS party elections over yesterday it is one down and one to go. Basically the ulama’ faction in PAS did a clean sweep with 80% of the votes and cleansed the party once and for all of Anwarinas and DAP running dogs.

I suppose the losers can all now join PasMa and form a proper party with a few more million ringgit donations from the Penang government and/or Lim Guan Eng.

So that now leaves just Umno and the position of party president and prime minister Najib Tun Razak to settle. As I wrote earlier, the position of PAS President Abdul Hadi Awang and also that of Najib have to be resolved by June 2015. If by this month they cannot oust Hadi and Najib then they are not going to be able to do so for some time to come.

The talk around town is that Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad may be attending Najib’s ‘Nothing2Hide’ dialogue session today and is planning to personally ask Najib questions regarding 1MDB.

I was told there are others who also plan to attend and in the event Dr Mahathir stands up to ask Najib questions regarding 1MDB then they, too, are going to ask Dr Mahathir some questions.

One question that they want to ask Dr Mahathir is regarding Sarawak Report. It seems, according to what these people are saying, Sufi Yusuff who works for Dr Mahathir has been feeding Sarawak Reportwith documents regarding 1MDB.

It is well known that Sarawak Report is well funded and is receiving their funding from outside the UK. Whether Dr Mahathir or those close to him are funding Sarawak Report is not known but Dr Mahathir has personally met Clare Rewcastle Brown, the person who started and is behind Sarawak Report.

Anyway, maybe all that will be known today if Dr Mahathir attends Najib’s dialogue session and these questions are posed to him after he asks the Prime Minister whatever it is he wants to ask regarding 1MDB.
