There has been no shredding of documents at The Edge office to destroy evidence related to allegations of fake emails as alleged in a Facebook posting, a spokesman for the publisher said today.
"The office and staff shown in the photo are not even our office or our staff," he said. "The people behind this should grow up."

"We have nothing to hide and as we said in the latest issue of The Edge Malaysia weekly, we will co-operate with all the authorities which are investigating 1MDB and hand over any documents we have, which includes material we have not previously written about " the spokesman said. "We have nothing to worry, but others may have things to worry about, and that's the reason behind this latest campaign to smear us. They fear what we will publish next."
The spokesman confirmed that the company has stopped the two-year-old regional news magazine Edge Review.
