BROTHER ZAM, THE COUNTRY NEEDS GOOD HONEST MALAYS TO LEAD:

1. Muslims must go back to the Quran.Islam is a peace-loving religion. But the the Muslims have given the religion a bad name. All human beings are treated equal in Islam. The light (nur) of Islam should reach all mankind. This has to done peacefully not with agression.

The clerics (ulama) are just ordinary human beings. They have no place in the Quran. They exist to seek power and followers. Many are the "cari makan" kind of clerics We have local clerics who have come up with silly decrees (fatwa). Muslims must be given the freedom and rights to disagree with them.

2. Let Anwar stay in peace in prison. After all it's not a death sentence. If he has done wrong he has to repent and change. Allah is All-forgiving if the repentance (taubat) is (sincere (nasuha). If he has done no wrong then let those who have accused him of wrongdoing be punished by Allah - God is All-merciful. As good Muslims we should not be judgmental when there is a any controversy. Anwar's 5 year sentence will end in 40 months (after one-third remission). He will be out of prison when he is 71. Hope he is changed man then.

3. Hadi or Harun are just opportunists. I don't regard them as clerics. They (plus a few holding high posts in Kelantan PAS) are the spoilers for PAS. PAS with them around will fall flat in the next GE.

4. Umno too has lost its usefulness. It has become a corrupted party. Money talks in Umno today. It has become a party for cronies, opportunists and power hungry Malays. Umno is now devoid of good leaders. Time is is ripe for Umno to be defeated. The people just want a change.

5. The country needs GOOD, HONEST Malays to lead. They can come from any political parties. Malaysians have to change their mindset. Vote for CLEAN leaders.

6. The country is now in a sorry state. We have a leadership crisis. We need a better leader for the good of of our future.
