FABULOUSLY WEALTHY NAJIB BRAGS WHILE PEOPLE GO HUNGRY IN MALAYSIA

FABULOUSLY WEALTHY NAJIB BRAGS WHILE PEOPLE GO HUNGRY IN MALAYSIA
The prime minister of Malaysia seems to be very much in high spirits as he preaches to the world about how well Malaysia is doing in its economy. His latest bragging about the ‘endless opportunities’ that the flooding tourists into Malaysia bring truly tells you how completely cut off he is from the harsh realities in town.
Look at the photos taken this Sunday in the heart of Najib’s vibrant Kuala Lumpur. People queuing up for free food. What does it tell us?
Or what about the photos showing throngs of migrant workers queuing up to repatriate hard earned Ringgit back to their homelands?
Najib is so completely detached from the harsh realities on the ground. How can the citizens continue to believe what he promises if he goes on speaking from his high pedestal of make believe.
Ask the stall operators in Petaling Street on how business is doing these days. They will not hesitate to share with deep concern how badly sales are these days.
Ask the people queuing up for free food. They too will tell you that it is no more something to be shying away from. A meal can easily cost as much as RM 15.00 and is these days beyond the reach of ordinary Malaysians.
With so many homeless people filling the streets of Kuala Lumpur one wonders why is a nation of “endless opportunities” facing such scenarios.
And Najib’s troupe may rebut that the numbers do not lie in so far as tourist arrivals go. But get real people. Do we not want to acknowledge that tens of thousands of ‘tourists’ from neighboring countries are arriving on tourist visas and sneaking a living in this land of “endless opportunities”.
Of course the people behind all the mushrooming money repatriation business are raking in from the service charges as tens of thousands – if not millions of lowly paid workers, squeeze out their hard earned Ringgit back home every week.
In the first place did not the prime minister himself admit that he used all the RM 2.6 billion ‘Donation’ for funding his loyalists and the Umno/BN party campaign to win the General Elections in 2013?
If this country is truly doing so well why even stretch your hand out for a world record donation of RM 2.6 billion from a middle-eastern donor?
And if indeed the country is doing so well under the Najib administration why even the need to pay people to campaign for votes? Surely citizens will not hesitate to give their vote if they are already experiencing a successful governance of their nation, right?
Indeed, these are most perplexing and perilous times for Malaysians. With the burdens of the Goods and Service Tax (GST) comes the need for Najib to squeeze the wage earner even more with toll increases, not to mention hikes in fuel prices when the world over the price is dropping.
And if indeed this is a land of “endless opportunities” why in the first pace do we see a currency decline?
Of course the loyalaits will feebly explain that not only is Malaysia facing a sliing currency value but most nations are. Their goof is riling citizens up because people are asking how come the ringgit that once rode higher than that of our ASEAN neighbors is today lower than the Thai Bath, the Philippine Peso and the Indonesian Rupiahs.
What is your take Malaysians? And let us also take an inventory of all that the Najib-loyalist cyber troopers will have to say, much to the chagrin of suffering Malaysians. - MAILBAG
