FBI Probes Goldman Sachs With 1MDB

US gov't reviews Goldman Sachs as part of broad 1MDB probe

US govt  reviewing Goldman Sachs' relationship with 1MDB part of a broader, wide-ranging investigation into (1MDB), an FBI spokesperson told Reuters yesterday.

US law enforcement sources are "aware of Goldman's possible involvement" in investments with the fund, the spokesperson said. 

A Goldman Sachs spokesperson declined to comment about FBI's review yesterday

The review into Goldman's ties with the fund marks the latest development in a wide-ranging global investigation across three continents into possible corruption and money-laundering.

Investigators probing whether Najib Razak improperly received US$700m into his accounts.

Najib also finance minister and chairs 1MDB's advisory board.

FBI squad specialises in "international kleptocracy" leading inquiries

Earlier this summer, Reuters reported that Malaysian anti-corruption officials paid a visit to the local Goldman Sachs office as part of its review into 1MDB.

1MDB has since racked up large debts that now total about RM42 billion.

Goldman earned roughly RM2.4 Billion in fees, commissions from underwriting bonds

The FBI's review into Goldman Sachs and its connections to 1MDB was first reported on Wednesday by the Wall Street Journal.

My comments :  Well the FBI is moving fast.  Here is my advice to any Malaysians who may have information to share with the FBI about this case, Khairuddin has been arrested under the SOSMA for syaitan knows what reason.

Obama is supposed to come here in November. The atmosphere and the weather is so friendly here. Who knows Obama may just celebrate an early Christmas.   

The last time Obama was here, Mr White did not get his jar of cookies, thanks to OutSyed The Box. That was a pretty big jar, with over 650 million cookies destined for some scam development in Detroit.   Maybe they are trying again.
