Finance Ministry: 1MDB didn't amend financial statement

PARLIAMENT | State investment firm 1MDB did not alter its financial statement for the year ending 2014, the Finance Ministry said.

It said this in yesterday's written reply in Parliament to Tony Pua (DAP-Petaling Jaya Utara), who asked if 1MDB had amended its audited financial statement.

Pua asked if the statement submitted to the Companies Commission of Malaysia (CCM) was different to the one it earlier filed.

The MP said examples of amendments included changing the term "substantially utilised" to "substantially set aside".

"1MBD only filed one set of audited financial statements for the year ended March 31, 2014 to CCM, without amendments," the ministry said.
