The axed deputy prime minister also urged more concerned citizens to lodge reports to compel the authorities to investigate the state investor in a transparent and fair manner.
In a statement uploaded on his Facebook page, Muhyiddin questioned if 1MDB had any sort of immunity, which warranted it to be protected by enforcement authorities in the country.
"I don't think so.
"Making a police report against 1MDB is not an act of violence and 1MDB does not enjoy any immunity.
"Instead, it is subject to the country's laws," he said.
He also issued a reminder that Sosma was passed in Parliament to combat acts of violence and terrorism.
