Bank Negara can take its own action against crooks without referring to the Attorney General.

BNM has put out this media statement yesterday 19 October 2015.

My advise is this - move quickly.

Gani Patail made the huge mistake of preparing that draft on a Friday. He did not sign the draft. Hence it remained a draft. Legally non existent. Then Gani went home for the weekend. The whole office already knew about the draft. Hence when Gani came into the office on Monday, he got fired. End of story.

He should have just signed that draft quietly and quickly by that Friday, made copies, sent them out to wherever and kept the originals somewhere safe. It would have been game over.

So to Zeti and BNM, dont make Gani's mistake. If you want to follow through with your brave Media Statement above, dont leave any drafts lying around the office over the weekend.
