SOS : Raise Hindu Temple demolishments & world’s only failed Indian diaspora with Malaysian P.M. @ P.M. Modi’s visit to Malaysia

Greetings and welcome to Malaysia Sir.

On your goodselves’ maiden visit to Malaysia on 21/11/15 and as the leader of the World’s Indian Diaspora we hope you could raise with the Prime Minister of Malaysia the very serious and indiscriminate demolishments and indignities caused to Hindu temples, forced conversions and the socially engineered by the state apartheid like policies victimising especially the minority Indian community in Malaysia resulting in the world’s only failed Indian diaspora and largely a degenerating community vis a vis the rapidly developing Malaysia.

The tip of the iceberg and latest being the demolishment on the 19th of October 2015 of the 130 year old ancestral and historical Sri Nagakanni Amman Hindu Temple, Hindu graveyard and Tamil school(earlier) and homes belonging to the poorest and most vulnerable fifth generation Malaysian born Segambut Estate Indian workers now made homeless.

Hundreds of other Hindu temples have been demolished or relocated next to sewerage ponds, high tension electric cables, Telecoms towers, Industrial waste land, etc and that too only on a temporary basis and waiting to be demolished at the appropriate time.

In wealthy and prosperous Malaysia, Government racist policies have targeted the segregation of the nearly three (3) million mostly hardworking Indians from fair and equal opportunities to higher education, scholarships, civil service and professional jobs and supervisory and management level private sector jobs, business, supply and especially government contract opportunities, denial of licenses, permits etc, largely ignoring their qualifications, capabilities, merits etc.

Although forming about 10% of the population, at independence 58 years ago some 60% of Malaysia’s civil servants, lawyers, doctors, dentists, pharmacists, engineers, accountants, teachers, lecturers etc used to be Indians but has today been systematically degenerated to a mere about 1% of civil servants and about 5% to 15% -in the other categories and continuing.

We have also received complaints of the exporting of Malay-sian racism to India by securing and providing the hundreds of government scholarships to almost all Malay students in medical colleges especially in Bangalore, Karnataka, M.S.Ramaiah Medical College etc with even a Malaysian government built Hostel. Even the Indian government medical seats for Malaysia are almost all given to the non Indians.

The Malaysian Indians have been segregated from equally sharing the happiness, wealth and prosperity of the country simply because they are defenceless and the most vulnerable soft target community.

However Malaysia has very successfully camouflaged this truth from the outside world by successfully showcasing and amplifying the 0.1% to 1% of the Indian cream and success stories.

For raising all of the above concerns and for leading the watershed 100,000 Indians 25 November 2007 Hindraf Uprising (which the government thereafter successfully crushed) Hindraf de facto leader P.Uthayakumar was detained without trial under the draconian Internal Security Act(ISA) for two(2) years. Thereafter in effect for the same offence he was once again sentenced to another two(2) years jail for Sedition in 2013 and was released just over one year ago.

During our attendance at the 2011 Pravasi Bharathiya Divas we had met, greeted and presented the Hindraf Annual Human Rights Report 2010 to Mr.Narendra Modi who told us “we are aware of the Hindu and Indian problems in Malaysia”.

The aforesaid genuine grievences of the Indian poor is continuing on a day to day basis and at an alarming rate with the latest being the questionable death in custody at the Dang Wangi police station of Thangaraju Ramudu(37) just two days ago on 19/11/2015.

The mighty UMNO government simply won’t listen to us.

So please help us Sir.
