How could Sirul remember details of 2006 murder?

Let me say that Sirul Azhar Umar’s outlandish revelation is simply unpalatable.
I was shocked when I read the former police commando saying that Altantuya Shariibuu was not pregnant when she was murdered, after all these years.
If this had come from a gynaecologist, it would have been more believable, but coming from a convicted murderer, I cannot help but to say that we are too far from the truth, not forgetting that this had come from one of the two men who had been convicted of the brutal murder.
I congratulate Sirul for having a super powerful memory. The mysterious killing of the Mongolian model happened in 2006; unless Sirul has such a great memory, I wonder how he could remember the fine details of the incident.
How would he know that the girl was in fact not pregnant? (emphasis added) If she was only one month pregnant, would it even appear as such? How then can Sirul confirm that the poor girl was not pregnant in the first place?
Based on Sirul’s claims, it is clear that he was aware of the pregnancy. Where then, did he learn about the Mongolian model being pregnant?
Background knowledge important to the motive
It is hard to believe that Sirul knew what to look for in the girl he murdered if he had not been told about the pregnancy. Did he carry out an interrogation to extract a confession from her, before she was murdered?
I am wondering now how much more did he know about the girl’s pregnancy? Who did the girl accuse of being the father of the child? We were told that Altantuya’s visit to Malaysia was to claim compensation for being pregnant.
In the first place, who had told him about the pregnancy? Was this the reason why the girl had been murdered, and the C4 explosive was used so that there would be no trace of a DNA link? If not, would you agree that this would have linked us directly to the motive of the brutal murder that shocked the world, and badly damaged our reputation as a nation as well?
I find it hard to understand why two commandos would use such a powerful explosive to wipe out any traces of the girl. Along with the recent revelation that Altantuya’s immigration records were never erased, it appears as if someone is orchestrating this slowly but surely - one dose at a time.
Who could it be? After all, we have already put two men on trial and they were found guilty of murder. That should be the end of the story.
But I still find it hard to understand why Sirul was involved himself in the murder of an innocent girl, together with a colleague, Inspector Azilah Hadri? As Special Action Unit member, who were they reporting to?
Why was this man, Safri Musa, who is also aide-de-camp to then-deputy prime minister Najib Abdul Razak, not called to the witness stand to tell the full story? Those of us who were following the trial had wanted to hear Safri’s eyewitness account.
Sirul clearly shows that he was part of a murder plot, because it does not appear to me that it was just two persons who were involved in a simple murder. He apparently knows the reason why he, too, had to dispose of the girl who was supposedly pregnant and connected to certain individuals.
Someone instructing Sirul?
It is easy to claim that Altantuya was not pregnant after all these years, why not earlier? What appears to me is that someone, with vested interests, had been instructing him to release this piece of information.
Who then could it be? All that we knew from the beginning was that Altantuya was pregnant, and she came to Malaysia to look for the father of the unborn child.
At this juncture, the late private investigator P Balasubramaniam’s widow, A Santamil Selvi, is suing Deepak Jaikishan over his role with seven others in sending her family into exile to India for five years from 2008.
We are told that Santamil also named two other persons among the seven - namely Najib and his wife, Rosmah Mansor. Deepak is trying to stop the case from going to trial.
This case is more complicated than it seems, and apparently someone is trying to close the case. Sirul knows that he is being made use of as a pawn, he should therefore stand up for the sake of the truth.
