Law student dumbfounded after car stolen outside court

For chambering student Adrian Lee Yung Khin, the last thing on his mind when he parked his Proton Waja outside the Jalan Duta court complex in Kuala Lumpur this morning was the risk of theft.
But when he returned to the spot two hours later, he found another car parked there.
“I cannot believe this [...] and I parked quite close to the building,” he told Malaysiakini, adding that the court complex was the last place he expected to lose his vehicle.
The chambering student also denied that his car could have been repossessed pointing out that the loan had been settled.
Earlier, the law graduate had sought the help of netizens to track down his car bearing the registration plate WMG 1505 by posting the incident on Facebook.
Lee stated he had parked his silver-coloured car at the court complex at around 9am and when he returned after attending a case, the vehicle was missing.
He learnt that another car had been parked in the same spot since 10.30am.
“So my car must have been stolen before that. There were also shards of shattered glass in the spot. But I am not sure if those were from my car,” he said.
Lee’s plight was also highlighted by DAP lawmaker Ngeh Koo Ham on Twitter.
“Please help Adrian find his car. Theft at High Court KL car-park in broad daylight,” he tweeted. -Mkini
