Awards For Convicted Criminals

As far as we know no country in the world has bestowed awards on anybody convicted of a criminal offence.  

And made its Head of State to officially present  the award in solemn ceremonies at a National Palace.

Especially to someone who has served jail sentences not just in one country but in two countries. And neither has the person been pardoned for his crimes. 

Before this, crooks have also been granted State funerals and buried in the Hero's Mausoleum, hence tarnishing the very idea of a Hero's Mausoleum and belittling the struggles and the memory of the giants who are already buried there.

The resources of the State are abused for useless junkie trips abroad for the Chief Executive who is  then greeted by peons and mere officials and not by Heads of States or by other Chief Executives of those countries.

At home, 'show off' and 'feel good' international conferences are organised for the Chief Executive where no other Chief Executives from other countries come to attend.  Again foreign countries send mere officials and peons as sufficient to shake the hands of the Chief Executive.

What does this really mean? 

It means that there is no respect for decorum, no respect for moral values and no respect for standards and norms which can be respected and held in high regard not just by the citizenry but also by other countries around the world.

Every tradition and norm which formed our national identity and which gave us self respect and pride is being broken down. Every aspect of good government is also being broken down.  

The country is becoming a cesspool. Nothing prospers in this cesspool except the scum.
