I received the following via email.
There's some truth that Hippo's boy is back in town, but in hiding.
They are pre - empting the US Department of Justice which will require the boy to go back to the US to have his statement recorded.
The US DoJ will usually send a legal notice to his last known address. This will be dicey because his last known address could be London whereas he is hiding out in Malaysia.
Eventually the US DoJ will ask Malaysia for assistance since they will have evidence that the guy departed on a flight to Malaysia.
What if the Dobi guy says "immigration has no records of the son returning to the country"? There will be lots of ding dong.
The boys biological father is in Sumatra, so that's another convenient place to hang out if the boy tires of Malaysian hospitality.
Even with an Interpol Red Notice, there won't be any cooperation with the US authorities.

My comments : My view is slightly different. When the US DoJ issues a warrant or Interpol issues a Red Notice and they choose to ignore it, the boy becomes a fugitive. He cannot step out of the country. If he goes to the US or Europe he may be arrested.
In such event what happens to his businesses, houses and movies?
There are too many heavy links in this very weak chain. It will break. And there are too many dots that are already being easily connected.
This is just like the Al Maunah. They stole a jeep and went home. They stole the guns and also went home. They could be easily traced. These are stupid folks.
Or Mas Selamat Kasturi. After he was allowed to escape, he ran to his cousin sister's house. I think he was followed all the way. It was a sting operation.
Lets see.
