The Real Economic Situation

The country's economy is suffering. Economic growth is under 4.5% this year. And whatever growth there is, it is not uniform or evenly spread across the economy.

The Malays and bumiputras are suffering the most. Chinese and Indians may not agree but they are suffering a little less. Mainly because they have decoupled to an extent from the fake 'gomen' economy and are more in tune with the real economy.  

There are places around the country where the non Malay economy is  absolutely booming. I will not say where exactly because jealous people may go and disrupt things. The people are booming because they work so hard.  I just marvel at their industriousness.

Here are some true stories of which I have personal knowledge. All these involve Malays. All these came to my knowledge or are existing situations within the past two to three weeks :

1. A brand new Malay doctor (medical officer) quit her post and left the medical service entirely. She did not like the "pressure".  The gomen spent about RM250,000 to train her. One medical seat in the university was used up to train her.  Plus it has taken her about 10 years (since SPM) to become a medical officer. All that time and money wasted. There is one less doctor to care for sick people. All wasted. What if a better candidate had been given the opportunity to become a doctor?

2.  A Malay lawyer, late forties, became out of work. Not enough clients, not enough work, cant pay the bills. So out of work and now looking for another job.

3.  A young Malay graduate (professional field) worked for a professional firm (Malay owned) which recently went bungkus.  The young man is now working in an almost menial job, outside his professional area.  His college mates (non Malay) who graduated from the same university can hold jobs (working for non Malay companies) and are stacking up their professional experience.

4.  A GLC offered a young Malay professional a new job. So he quit his old job. Then the GLC could not confirm the new position. The guy is now unemployed. No job.

5.  A Malay entrepreneur  is almost broke because the prices of the product he deals in have crashed. Plus the business was never a regular business.  Income very unsteady.  In more debt and struggling. 

6. A gomen contractor (Malay) cannot get anymore gomen contracts and suffers serious cashflow problems. Bank is closing on his property, which is also his only place of business. In serious debt. Living off borrowing money from friends.

7. A young Malay taxi driver has had his income cut from RM2000 per month to about RM800 per month. Has a wife and kids. Reasons : Uber, competition and less people taking taxis. People have less money to spend on cabs.  Currently looking for another job. Wife has to work (part time) and they have issues with taking care of kids.

Folks, these are real stories. I came to know of nearly all these cases in just two to three weeks.  I am sure there are many among you who know of similar stories.

And yet when there are condo launches at RM750 psf to RM900 psf around my area, they are taken up well.  Guess who is NOT buying them.

Outside KL the new condos are going for about RM500 psf and are still being snapped up.  Again guess who is NOT buying them.

Luxury car sales are booming. Mercedes, Audi etc are reporting strong sales. Not all their buyers are 1MDB crooks or UMNO crooks.  Again guess who is NOT buying.

Exactly what ETP, GTP crap are these morons talking about?   

They are just pulling the wool over the peoples' eye while they steal and loot.
