Malaysia's top badminton mixed doubles team Goh Liu Ying and Chan Peng Soon were defeated in their first ever All-England final.
They lost to China's Lu Kai and Huang Yaqiong, who took control of the third set early and won 21-16.
Lu and Huang forced a third set in a nail-biting second set, which they won 21 to 19.
The Malaysian pair won the first set 21 to 18.
This is also Lu and Huang's first All-England final.
The game was concluded in one hour and 25 minutes.
The China pair lauded the Malaysians for "playing very well".
Goh is the first Malaysian woman to make it to an All-England final.-Mkini
