THIS IS THE STANDARD OF NAJIB & SELANGOR SULTAN’S CHAMPION: JAMAL BASHES ‘OLD & FORGETFUL’ DR M & SITI HASMAH, ACCUSES THEM OF GIVING RM1BIL TO DAP ‘THROUGH VARIOUS WEBSITES’

UMNO leader Jamal Yunos today ticked off former prime minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad, his wife, Dr Siti Hasmah Mohd Ali, and former law minister, Zaid Ibrahim, asking them to “go back to school” to learn how to respect royals.
Jamal said Dr Mahathir and his wife’s act of returning awards to the Selangor palace was akin to children throwing a tantrum after being scolded by their elders, and was an act of disrespect to the sultan.
“After being told off a little by the sultan of Selangor, (they) are acting like children… throwing a tantrum and returning the awards.
“If there wasn’t a crisis, then returning these medals wouldn’t be an issue… but if there is a crisis and criticism which led to the return of these honorary awards means it’s a protest that they cannot accept and don’t respect the sultan. This is the interpretation,” he said
“They all need to go back to Standard 1, go back to school.
“I want to tell Tun M (Dr Mahathir), don’t try to be smart by talking big about Malaysia. Go back to Standard 1, learn the Rukun Negara.
“Same goes with Zaid, go back to Standard 1, learn the meaning of the Rukun Negara, follow and be loyal to the Rukun Negara, then you can be a leader,” he said outside the Dang Wangi police station in Kuala Lumpur today.
Jamal said the three individuals needed to be reminded on how to uphold the Rukun Negara.
“I categorise Zaid Ibrahim, Tun M and his wife as individuals who are disrespectful and who do not uphold the Rukun Negara,” he said.
“They don’t understand, or maybe they have forgotten, because they are too old and have forgotten the meaning of the Rukun Negara. So, they have to go back to school.”
Dr Siti Hasmah and Dr Mahathir both returned two royal awards conferred to them when Dr Mahathir was serving as the prime minister.
They returned the awards two days after the sultan of Selangor criticised Dr Mahathir, who now heads the Pakatan Harapan pact, in an interview with a local daily recently.
Zaid tweeted a response to the sultan’s comments, earning him criticism from the palace as well as Jamal, who burned a cut-out of Zaid and threatened to smash his head in with a hammer if he did not apologise to the ruler.
Police detained Jamal for two days after Zaid, who said he feared for his safety, lodged a police report.

Malaysians not desperate enough to choose Dr Mahathir again, says Jamal

MALAYSIANS are not desperate enough to pick Dr Mahathir Mohamad as the next prime minister to replace Najib Razak, said Umno’s controversial leader Jamal Yunos.
The Sg Besar division chief said the only ones desperate enough to choose Dr Mahathir as the next prime minister is DAP.
“Who says Malaysians are desperate? The only people who are desperate are those surrounding him who want to suck his blood (money). Dr Mahathir obtained his money during his years as PM  .
“The ones around him are the people who are instigating him to put in money,” Jamal told reporters outside the Dang Wangi district police station today.
He said those who nominated Dr Mahathir as their candidate for prime minister have personal interests.
“Those around Dr Mahathir who want him to be PM after GE14 have been paid off by the former prime minister. We already know he gave RM1 billion to DAP through the various websites  ,” said Jamal.
“DAP, who has received this money, don’t care. When Bersatu only has one or two seats in Kedah and Johor after the elections and DAP end up with the most seats, it will boot Dr Mahathir into the drain,” said the Jamal, who said he wants to the next Selangor mentri besar.
Dr Mahathir said he was willing to be the interim prime minister ahed of Pakatan Harapan’s challenge in GE14.
“I don’t know. If people are really desperate and they cannot find anybody else, maybe this 93-year-old can become interim prime minister,” he told reporters at PKR’s headquarters in Petaling Jaya yesterday.
In a PH retreat earlier this month, component parties except for PKR, had agreed to Dr Mahathir as interim prime minister and PKR president Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail as deputy prime minister if it wins GE14.
