The Pahang BN will soon announce its manifesto for the upcoming 14th general election (GE14), with a promise that it is far more realistic and achievable than that of the opposition’s, without promising ‘the moon and the stars’ to the people.
State BN chairman Adnan Yaakob said the manifesto would focus on education, youth development and human capital as well as the welfare of all races in the state.
“The manifesto has already been drafted but we have been fine-tuning it to ensure that the people in Pahang will benefit from what we have to offer.
"We will not promise the moon and the stars, we must be realistic and capable of doing what we say... meaning, we cannot promise to do things that makes us popular, for example, I promise to build futsal courts for all the villages in Pahang, how many villages are there?
“How much will the cost be? We can make promises but what is the use if we are unable to fulfill them,” he said after attending a meet-the-people programme at Kampung Pahang Tua today.
At the event, 24 representatives of water user groups for the Pekan Integrated Agricultural Development Area received the cost of living allowance aid as announced by Prime Minister Najib Razak during the 2018 Budget presentation.
