With more than 1 million PAS members and less than 50,000 for PPBM and PAN combined Pakatan Harapan is in trouble

The allegation that Prime Minister Najib Tun Razak bribed PAS President Abdul Hadi Awang RM90 million is now dead in the water. In fact, the allegation ended up with Clare Rewcastle Brown getting sued in court and she is having a hard time trying to prove her allegation. So, she is taking a leaf out of Anwar Ibrahim’s playbook by delaying the case until after GE14.

But that also poses a problem because then PAS can use this as proof that there is no evidence and the allegation is mere fitnah. And if the RM90 million bribe allegation is fitnah that means all the other allegations such as 1MDB, the RM2.6 billion, and so on, are also fitnah. This will deny Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad his weapon against Najib: the allegation that Najib stole RM42 billion of 1MDB’s money, which has already been proven false anyway.

The RM90 million bribe allegation failed so now they are coming out with a new RM50 million bribe story as their second shot at Hadi and PAS

Mahathir is now working behind the scenes to come out with a new allegation. This time the allegation is that Najib is giving PAS RM50 million to help finance GE14. They are going to reveal so-called wiretaps and intercepted e-mails and WhatsApp messages that will be the ‘evidence’ of communications regarding the RM50 million deal.

They will say that meetings were held in London to negotiate this RM50 million but the people involved were followed and their conversation recorded by ‘special agents’. So, the entire RM50 million deal is no longer a secret.

If PAS refuses to agree on a straight fight and still insists on three-corner fights then this ‘evidence’ will be released to the public to ‘prove’ that PAS is being paid RM50 million to trigger three-corner fights to help Umno defeat Pakatan Harapan. They hope this will spark outrage so that PAS supporters will either boycott the election and will refuse to come out to vote or they may swing and vote PPBM-PAN instead. Either way PPBM and PAN will benefit.

Mahathir needs to swing the Malay votes and the only way is to steal them from PAS by alleging that PAS has sold out to Umno for RM50 million

The so-called evidence involving wiretaps and intercepted e-mails and WhatsApp messages is currently being fabricated in another country by a team of professionals. If you have the money to spend it is not impossible to make anything appear real. They hope the evidence will look so real that PAS will face a mutiny amongst its ranks.
