BUKIT Aman has raided the Deloitte Malaysia office in what is believed to be in relation to its 1Malaysia Development Bhd (1MDB) probe.
Acting Commercial Crime Investigation Department (CCID) director Saiful Azly Kamaruddin told The Malaysian Insight that a team was dispatched to the office this afternoon.
“Yes, we raided the office this afternoon,” he said without elaborating.
Saiful said as at 5.30pm, the raid was still ongoing.
Earlier, The Star had reported that the investigating team had confiscated several files and documents from the premises but no arrests had been made

PETALING JAYA: Police have raided the office of Deloitte Malaysia here in connection with the 1Malaysia Development Bhd (1MDB) case.
A team of officers from the Bukit Aman Commercial Crimes Investigations Department arrived at the office in Taman Tun Dr Ismail at noon on Thursday (May 23).
They seized documents and files from the office.
As of 3.15pm, the raids are still ongoing but so far, no arrests have been made.
Deloitte is the first accounting firm to be raided in relation to the 1MDB case.
It is among the big four international accounting companies that include Ernst and Young, KPMG and PricewaterhouseCoopers.
