leaked document circulated by Israeli Foreign Ministry
US said it will reveal deal after fasting ends early June
main points put together by Trump son-in-law, Jared Kushner
has extensive interests in Israel and settlements
are as follows:
tripartite agreement between Israel, PLO, Hamas
Palestinian state established “New Palestine”
in occupied West Bank, Gaza with exception of settlements
Israel would release Palestinian prisoners over three years
settlements in occupied West Bank would form part of Israel
Jerusalem not divided but shared by Israel and “New Palestine”
Israel maintaining general control
Palestinians in Jerusalem would be citizens of Palestinian state
Israel remain in charge of municipality and land
new Palestinian state would pay taxes to Israeli municipality
in charge of education for Palestinians
status quo at holy sites will remain
Jews not be allowed to buy Palestinian houses
and vice versa
Egypt offer land to build airport, factories, agriculture for Gaza
Palestinians not permitted to live on this land
highway to connect Gaza to West Bank, 30 metres above Israel (elevated??)
Funding for project from China (50%)
South Korea, Australia, Canada, US, EU each 10%
Deal sponsors
US, EU, Gulf states fund, sponsor deal for 5 years to establish “New Palestine”
US$6b a year; 70% paid by Gulf states, US 20%, EU 10%
Palestine not allowed army, only police force
defence agreement signed with Israel
Israel defend new state from any foreign attack
Hamas hand over all its weapons to Egypt
Hamas leaders compensated, paid salaries by Arab states

My comments :
What this means is that everyone stays exactly where they are now.
Or where they have been since the Six Day War of 1967 - 52 years ago.
There will be no uprooting of people or realignment of borders.
The difference is the Palestinians have one new state 'Palestine'.
They can issue their own passports, issue their own currency etc.
They have freedom of movement from Gaza to West Bank etc.
The Palestinians can use Israeli airports and ports to travel and for trade.
New roads and highways (including a 100 foot high elevated highway) will connect Gaza to the West Bank, cutting through Israel (about 40 km closest point.)
Egypt provides land to Gaza :
- to build an international airport
- to build industries and factories
- for agriculture
Whether this plan works or not remains to be seen.
But here is why this plan will come into being:
- If refuse US cancel all financial support to Palestine
- If Abbas signs but Hamas, Islamic Jihad do not
- war on Gaza with full backing of US
After this it could be Hizbollah's turn.
Then maybe Iran.
Then maybe Pakistan.
