AirAsia offers 20% off all seats until Sept 1

PETALING JAYA: To celebrate National Day and Malaysia Day, AirAsia is offering 20% off all seats on all its flights.

The offer will be available for bookings made via AirAsia's website (airasia.com) or the AirAsia mobile app between now and Sept 1 for travel between Sept 2 and Nov 19 this year.

Customers can save an additional 5% on hotel bookings with the promo code AAHOTEL5 and 20% on Pick A Seat if they are travelling with family or friends, or opt for a Hot Seat and enjoy extra legroom and priority boarding.

The promotion is part of AirAsia's thematic campaign “Your Journey, Our Passion” to celebrate Malaysian unity, which is launched in conjunction with the upcoming National Day and Malaysia Day.

“Malaysia’s strength has always been its people and its diversity. This year, we wanted to showcase this diversity as a reminder that our strength is because of, and not in spite of, our differences," said AirAsia Malaysia CEO Riad Asmat said in a statement on Tuesday (Aug 27).

The campaign was launched on Monday (Aug 26) and sees the airline's release of the video tribute entitled “Hidup Bersama” (Living Together).

The two-minute clip is narrated by Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad and national laureate Datuk A. Samad Said, depicts the everyday lives of Malaysians from all walks of life striving together for a better future.
