Malaysia Today apologises to His Royal Highness Prince Faisal bin Turki Nasser Al Saud for the wrong picture used in the article “Confirmed, The RM2.6 Billion Najib Received Came From The Saudis“. It was an error and not intended to offend or slander His Royal Highness Prince Faisal bin Turki Nasser Al Saud.

ATTN: Editor Malaysia Today
I am Personal Secretary to His Royal Highness Prince Faisal bin Turki Nasser Al Saud. The reason I am writing you, is because your newspaper has posted incorrectly a picture of His Highness as part of an article that I will attach the link for below.
At this point he will accept an apology on your same paper along with an email explaining that it was a mistake.
He is indeed part of the Royal Saudi family, but not the one related to the contents of your article. It is a common mistake that people google the name Faisal bin Turki and pull up his picture, but as a newspaper it would be your responsibility to make sure it is the right one. The picture you posted is one from an AL Nassr news conference, which is a Professional league soccer / football team in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, one that this Prince Faisal was a former president of. Again NOT the one you reference your story to in the context of this same article. Somebody was lazy and just did a basic google search, which I’m hoping is not how you conduct your business. Again an incorrect google search, as the picture again is of HRH Prince Faisal bin Turki bin Nasser AL Saud.
To help you understand, there are many many members of the Saudi Royal family and several of them are Faisal bin Turki. The name that follows those two names is what is the difference. The following name would be the fathers name and so on. So googling Faisal bin Turki on it’s own would be like googling Mohamad Adam , Mohamad Ahmad , Mohamad Hazig, in Malaysia.
As I explained , he understands how the mistake might happen, but he also expects you to correct it, after you have confirmed that you are indeed referencing the incorrect Prince Faisal Turki.
Once more this is hopefully the first and last step towards the correction required by your paper. The next step would be done at a legal level that we are hoping can be avoided. All that is required of your paper is the truth.
Thank you for your time and attention on this matter,
Sami Abushalback
Personal Secretary of HRH Prince Faisal bin Turki bin Nasser Al Saud.
