Dr M back to work after suffering from nose bleed

Prime Minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad had a minor nose bleed at a press conference today but remains to be in good health, according to officers from the Prime Minister's Office.
"He is on duty as usual," said a statement from his office.
"The news which said he was rushed off to seek treatment is untrue."
Dr Mahathir had spoke at a joint press conference with Primary Industries Minister Teresa Kok after launching the Malaysian Palm Oil Board International Palm Oil Congress and Exhibition at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre.

As he was taking questions from reporters on palm oil-related issues, Dr Mahathir (photo) was seen wiping his nose several times with a handkerchief.
The press conference only went on for about four minutes before it was ended by Dr Mahathir.
"PM Tun Mahathir is fine and he’s already back in the office for work," said a separate statement from his office at 1pm.
At around 1.40pm, Finance Minister Lim Guan Eng posted on Facebook that he just met with Mahathir at the latter's office to discuss several current issues.
"Tun said he is healthy and wants to continue working in his office.
"Tun said don't worry, his blood pressure is good at 120/70," said Lim, who also posted a selfie of him looking overjoyed to be in Mahathir's office, as the nonagenarian looked on from behind his work table.
The prime minister is scheduled to attend a gathering of Muslim scholars from Southeast Asia at Movenpick Hotel and Convention Centre, KLIA, this evening.  - Mkini
